Loves Me Not
Overview
The challenge for this project was to develop a brand identity and logo for a line of women’s self-defense products. The objective was to create a brand that resonates with women and empowers them to take control of their safety and well-being in an increasingly uncertain world.
To address this challenge, I began by conducting thorough research and analysis, creating customer profiles and mood boards to better understand the target audience and their preferences. Drawing inspiration from girlhood, I conceptualized a logo that would not only capture the essence of the brand but also resonate deeply with its intended audience. Through careful design choices and thoughtful consideration of aesthetics, I crafted a logo that communicates femininity through powerful products.
The results of this project culminated in a brand identity that challenges traditional notions of self-defense by offering a different, more inclusive approach. By infusing femininity into the branding, the self-defense products become less intimidating for women, allowing them to embrace their own agency and rewrite the narrative surrounding personal safety.
